Well, the participant icon for this year is pretty boring. (Wah.)

However, I have a story idea, and I think it's good. I think the reason the story itself will be good is because I don't plan to have any romantic relationships. I have proven to my own satisfaction that I absolutely cannot write them believably.

And! And, I think I might be writing alongside other people from my dorm!!! That'll be neat :)

Most of the story-related material is kept behind friendslock. If you'd like to see it in all its ungloriousness, comment and I'll add you. :)

Well, I have my new icon for this year. I decided that I'll leave last year's up until 2005. I don't like it as much, but I liked the other three options (at least there's options this year!) less.

But, more importantly than that, it's October! (It's been October, but the site didn't open until 1600 MDT, and I forgot about it until just now.) So now I get to try to plan my novel. Maybe I'll name it The Liturgical Omelet or something. But probably not.

Actually, if I don't have a good title soon, I'll call it "the omelet" until I do :P

Blah. I have no idea what I'm going to write this year, except that I certainly need to do it so I'm doing something with my time. I feel really apathetic, which is probably bad, but better than panicking because I don't have Openoffice reinstalled yet.

I did it!

At 1430 on November 28, 2003, I completed a novel of more than 50,000 words!

wc claims that MST.txt is 51019 words, but on the official site I claimed 51025 since Openoffice believes I have 51028.
